The Bodyfriend fashion team showcases uniforms, office looks, and daily looks that embody Bodyfriend's personality and dignity through seasonal collections. From last year to this year's S/S season, they have held a total of three collection fashion shows. This season, due to COVID-19, the fashion show event has been simplified and replaced with a collection exhibition.
The exhibition, themed '5 days in BODYFRIEND,' revealed business look collections reflecting the sensibility and style of Bodyfriend employees from Monday to Friday. Bodyfriend explained that they emphasized a sophisticated look without being overwhelming by using black and brown tones, classic colors representing F/W, as the main colors, and ivory, dark gray, khaki, and navy as accent colors.
On Monday and Tuesday, they proposed suit styles that are practical yet classic with added points. On Wednesday and Thursday, casual suit styles featuring cuff color blocking, corduroy, and check fabrics were suggested. Friday showcased trendy looks with a rock style mood, including leather jackets and leather-mix coats, fake fur shearling coats and jackets, and patch-point denim pants.
A Bodyfriend official said, "Although this collection was produced in-house, the quality of the works is comparable to professional collections," adding, "Designer Seol Younghee, the godmother of haute couture, supervised the entire production process as an advisor, and Team Leader Yoo Jeongsu, who studied in Paris and has experience running a personal brand, along with designers Shin Seonhwa and Lee Jeongsun, who have extensive practical experience, designed a total of 32 pieces."
