Amorepacific Donates Upcycling Benches Made from Cosmetic Empty Containers
Plastic Bottle Recycling
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Amorepacific delivered eight upcycling benches, created in collaboration with Sampyo Group and Decrete, to the Jongno District Office in Seoul.
Amorepacific and Sampyo Group donated cosmetic plastic containers and ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) as raw materials, respectively, while UHPC specialist company Decrete was responsible for the bench design and production.
This donation was made by companies who sympathized with the ‘Bench the Place Project’ promoted by Jongno District, and they plan to continue donating to various locations over the next three years.
Previously, as part of the ‘Green Cycle’ campaign, Amorepacific installed an upcycling bench made by recycling over 1,400 cosmetic plastic containers at Cheollipo Arboretum in Taean, Chungnam.
