Gangjin-gun Produces Memory Albums for Dementia Patients
30 Elderly Participants of Weekly Care Shelter Have Photos Taken Since the 1st
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-su] Gangjin-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 2nd that the Dementia Safety Center will create "Memory Albums" for 30 dementia patients using the daytime care shelter.
The Memory Album, under the theme "Together with Warm Memories," was planned to help dementia patients relieve stress through improved memory recall and enjoyment, and to provide families with cherished memories. Photo shoots began on the 1st.
This photo shoot was prepared with various concepts, including activity photos from the Dementia Safety Center programs, small group graduation photos, and personal photo shoots expressing a beautiful and wonderful self.
Considering the advanced age of the participants, the center provided shuttle services to ensure comfortable and safe transportation before and after the shoots, and to prevent COVID-19 infection, photo sessions were conducted one team at a time according to scheduled times. Infection prevention rules such as mask-wearing, temperature checks, and respiratory symptom screening were strictly followed.
