One in Five Koreans Is a Customer: DB Insurance Surpasses 10 Million Policyholders
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] DB Insurance's customer base has surpassed 10 million, ranking second in the insurance industry.
On the 2nd, DB Insurance announced that it has reached 10 million customers this month. This means that one in five Koreans is a DB Insurance customer.
Starting in 1962 as Korea's first public automobile insurance company, DB Insurance opened the driver insurance market for the first time in the industry in 1984, and has since continuously developed various products such as indemnity insurance, integrated insurance, and child insurance. It has consistently introduced insurance products necessary for customers' health and daily life, including insurance for those with pre-existing conditions, internet-based completion insurance, and insurance covering disease prevention and rehabilitation.
Additionally, through its representative automobile brand ‘Promy,’ DB Insurance developed the industry's first V-System, which enables high-definition video consultations without on-site visits in case of car accidents, providing a safe and differentiated customer experience for customers sensitive to COVID-19.
To celebrate surpassing 10 million customers, DB Insurance will produce a new TV commercial and hold the ‘10 Million Customers Welcome Mission Event.’ This event, starting on the 9th, can be participated in through the official DB Insurance website and mobile application (app).
