‘Songpa-reul Bichnan Jeongchaek?’ Online Voting
Ongoing Until the 14th, 9 Out of 17 Projects Selected
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Songpa-gu (Mayor Park Seongsu) is conducting an online vote for the ‘Seoul-Leading Songpa Policy Award’ to select projects that have achieved excellent results this year, contributing to the improvement of residents' quality of life.
The ‘Seoul-Leading Songpa Policy Award’ is an award system started in 2019 to select projects that contributed to the development of district administration and the promotion of residents' welfare, aiming to provide high-quality administrative services.
This year, 17 projects were selected as final candidates from those submitted by each department.
Notably, this year, proactive COVID-19 response measures led by Songpa-gu have been nominated as candidates.
These include ▲‘Songpa-gu COVID-19 Internet Quarantine Team,’ which was spread nationwide as a model case for COVID-19 response by the government ▲‘Together with Villages & Youth, Livable Songpa,’ where youth and young small business owners cooperated to provide lunchboxes to vulnerable groups, as well as non-face-to-face events held to prevent infectious diseases such as ▲Seokchon Lake & Songpa Dulle-gil Autumn Leaves Festival ▲Live Talk Concert ‘Songpa-daero.’
Core projects of the 7th local government term were also nominated.
These include ▲Creation of Songpa Dulle-gil Tancheon Trail ▲Establishment of a happy childcare environment for parents and children ▲Online education support using Songpa Saem.
Additionally, there are projects first implemented nationwide by Songpa-gu, such as ▲Advancement of road name addresses and activation of address information utilization ▲Installation of real-time right-turn video alert systems ▲Hosting of the Songpa Kids Health Online Expo.
The district will conduct online voting until 11 p.m. on December 14 to select the final nine projects as the ‘Seoul-Leading Songpa Policy Award.’ Voting can be participated in through the Seoul M-Voting website.
The final nine projects will be selected by combining 30% from online voting and 70% from a separate evaluation, and the results will be announced on December 22 on the Songpa-gu Office website.
