Lotte Department Store Holds Event for College Scholastic Ability Test Takers
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Lotte Department Store is offering events such as gift certificate giveaways and product discounts for students who took the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).
At all Lotte Department Store locations, from the day after the CSAT, November 4th, through the 13th, customers presenting their exam admission ticket will receive Lotte gift certificates. When purchasing fashion items (women's, men's, sports, leisure, accessories) worth 100,000 KRW or more, customers will be given Lotte gift certificates equivalent to 10% of the purchase amount, limited to one participation per person.
Special discount events are also prepared for brands popular among customers in their early 20s, including easy casual and sports product lines, for customers presenting their exam admission ticket.
At NBA stores in all locations, from the 3rd to the 6th, a 21% discount event is held for 2021 university freshmen. At Life Work stores in all locations, a first-come, first-served purchase gift event starts on the 3rd, offering a mask strap for purchases over 100,000 KRW and a hip sack for purchases over 200,000 KRW. Additionally, Nike stores at six locations including Incheon Terminal, Pyeongchon, Suwon, Jungdong, Guri, and Ansan will run a 20% discount promotion until the 6th.
Furthermore, at the Jamsil branch, brands such as Watco, Andew, and Quiksilver Roxy will offer 20% discounts starting from the 3rd. Lacoste Sports, Jeep, and Elle swimwear will have 10% discount events. Jane Court, Umbro, and Polham will provide appreciation gifts on a first-come, first-served basis depending on the purchase amount. At the Gangnam branch, from the 4th to the 10th, Vans will give a 10,000 KRW gift certificate for purchases over 100,000 KRW on a first-come, first-served basis, along with various other discounts and giveaways for test takers.
At the main store, a large clearance event will be held. From the 4th to the 8th, a winter product exhibition for popular sports and outdoor brands will take place, with Under Armour, Converse, Levi’s, Black Yak, Kolon Sport, and others offering discounts up to 70%. This event allows customers to purchase popular winter items such as fleece and padded jackets at lower prices than usual. Representative items include Converse padded jackets at 69,000 KRW, Levi’s fleece jackets at 49,000 KRW, Levi’s long padded jackets at 89,000 KRW, Black Yak long padded jackets at 125,000 KRW, and Kolon Sport long padded jackets at 170,000 KRW.
In addition, starting from the 4th, Lotte Department Store’s live broadcast channel ‘100LIVE’ will showcase special-priced products from over 30 brands. On the 7th at 2 PM, ‘UGG’ boots, a must-have item for the winter season, will be offered at up to 70% discount. Representative models such as the Suede Mini Bow and Classic Mini Fluff will be sold for 99,000 KRW. On the 9th at 6:30 PM, the Joy Gryson handbag Black Edition will be exclusively sold at a 15% discount.
