Kim San, Muan County Governor, Says "Students Must Take CSAT in a Safe Environment"
Pre-Inspection of Suneung Exam Sites: Emphasis on Thorough Quarantine Measures
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan County, Jeollanam-do announced on the 1st that County Governor Kim San visited local test sites with the Muan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Ran) on the 30th of last month to inspect quarantine preparations for the safety of students taking the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) on the 3rd and to ensure smooth exam proceedings.
Recently, with the social distancing level raised to 1.5 and confirmed cases occurring in nearby areas, the county is strengthening quarantine and infectious disease prevention measures to ensure students can take the exam safely.
Additionally, 120,000 quarantine masks will be distributed before the exam day, and special quarantine inspections will be conducted at academies and study cafes, along with support for disinfecting test sites before the CSAT.
