People Power Party Completes Formation of Innovation Labor Special Committee... Korean Confederation of Trade Unions Also Participates
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] The Korea Federation of Trade Unions (KCTU) will participate in the People Power Party's Special Committee on Labor Innovation to discuss labor issues.
Im Eija, the chairperson of the special committee, announced at the party's floor strategy meeting on the 1st, "Yesterday, we received an official letter from the KCTU expressing their intention to participate in the special committee, completing the committee's formation." Kim Jong-in, the emergency response committee chairman, visited the KCTU on October 28 and emphasized the need to amend labor-related laws while proposing the party's special committee participation.
