SK Broadband Announces 19 Award-Winning Works at the 'Social Value Empathy Video Festival'
Jang Gi-tak's "Teum," Reflecting on a Life Afraid of Face-to-Face Encounters, Wins Award
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] On the 1st, SK Broadband announced 19 award-winning works of the 'Social Value Empathy Video Contest' on its homepage.
The grand prize was awarded to Jang Gi-tak's "Teum," which reflects on a daily life where people have become afraid to face each other. Three works, one from each category, were selected for the excellence awards. In the "Beautiful Generation Empathy" category, "Maengsunssi Teobat" (Park Im-ja), which depicts a mother pioneering her life in old age, received an award. In the "Wise Empathy Life" category, "30%" (Kim Jin-san), which captures the process of resolving conflicts among residents during redevelopment, was selected. In the "Happy Daily Empathy" category, "Superstar" (Lee Tae-yang), a story about a young refugee awaiting trial and his friends who help him, received the excellence award.
This video contest is the first project of the Media Creation Support Center established by SK Broadband to realize regional characteristics in broadcasting following the merger with T-Broad. A total of 431 works were submitted from all over the country, including Seoul, Cheonan, and Daegu.
