Naver Cloud Targets Southeast Asian Market, Partners with GS Global
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Naver Cloud announced on the 1st that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with GS Global to expand its overseas market.
Naver Cloud plans to establish a local large enterprise customer channel for overseas business expansion through GS Global.
The two companies plan to first develop cloud entry projects focusing on Southeast Asian countries. GS Global will collaborate with Naver Cloud to understand overseas market conditions, pioneer overseas markets, and discover overseas customers, paving the way for the Naver Cloud platform to enter foreign markets.
Naver Cloud will provide global specialized services, technical sales support, project execution, and maintenance to help GS Global successfully settle in the global markets it pioneers.
The two companies intend to jointly carry out investment and support for domestic startups’ overseas expansion, as well as expand cloud business through various methods such as establishing local pools and joint ventures (JV).
Park Won-gi, CEO of Naver Cloud, stated, "To globalize Korean cloud services, we will join hands with GS Global and continuously discuss related cooperation plans."
