[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] South Korea and the United States held a video conference between their respective negotiation teams on the 30th of last month to review the status of the 11th Special Measures Agreement (SMA) negotiations on defense cost-sharing, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
Jung Eun-bo, South Korea's Special Representative for Defense Cost-Sharing Negotiations, and Donna Welton, U.S. Department of State's Defense Cost-Sharing Negotiation Representative (Senior Advisor for Political-Military Affairs), agreed to closely cooperate to promptly reach a fair and mutually acceptable agreement.
