Gyeongnam Province announced on the 30th at 10 a.m. that five new confirmed cases occurred since 5 p.m. the previous day: one in Changwon, one in Jinju, one in Hapcheon, one in Geochang, and one in Yangsan.
In Changwon, a teenage elementary school student in the Jinhae area, the grandson of patient number 606 from the Masan Arari Danran pub, was infected and classified as patient number 623. As a result, the number of confirmed cases related to the Arari Danran pub has increased to 40, with new cases occurring for a consecutive week.
One more confirmed case related to the Jinju neighborhood leader was added. A man in his 30s, the son of patient number 613, was classified as patient number 620, increasing the related confirmed cases to 65.
