View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Ki-dong] Mokpo Hanbit Elementary School (Principal Lee Su-hwan) announced on the 30th that on the 26th, they delivered kimchi made with love to the Sinheung-dong Administrative Welfare Center to be given to elderly people living alone and other neighbors in need within the district.
The 2020 winter kimchi sharing event was held while adhering to COVID-19 prevention guidelines, with students, parents, and faculty members personally preparing 400 heads of kimchi (60 boxes) filled with love and sincerity.
A student who participated in the event said, "Thinking that I am delivering kimchi to elderly people living alone made me participate with a rewarding heart."
Lee Su-hwan, principal of Hanbit Elementary School, said, "It gave me great joy as it became an opportunity to instill a sense of community education among students and to practice love for the local area directly."
