Ssangyong Motor Conducts Children's Traffic Safety Campaign in Front of an Elementary School in Pyeongtaek
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Ssangyong Motor announced on the 27th that it conducted a children's traffic safety campaign to prevent traffic accidents in school zones and contribute to creating a safe community.
Ssangyong Motor employees under the Human Resources and Management Department, along with the Pyeongtaek Police Station and the Green Mothers' Association, guided elementary school students' walking safety on their way to school in front of Dongsak Elementary School in Pyeongtaek on the 26th and promoted safe driving to protect children.
Wearing safety vests with the logo of Ssangyong Motor's in-house social contribution program 'Four Wheels Together,' Ssangyong employees held safe driving signs such as 'Children First,' 'Slow Down in Front of School,' and 'Please Stop at the Stop Line,' as well as stop safety flags, guiding elementary students to cross the crosswalk safely on their way to school.
Additionally, they guided drivers passing around the school to immediately recognize the school zone, comply with speed limits, and prohibit illegal parking to ensure safe driving for child protection, while jointly inspecting the traffic environment within the school zone.
Earlier, on the 19th, Ssangyong Motor employees at the Changwon plant also conducted activities to prevent children's traffic accidents and establish a children's traffic safety culture in front of Samjeongja Elementary School in Changwon, together with the Samjeongja Crime Prevention Patrol and the Green Mothers' Association.
