30s Saved After Falling from 18th Floor of Apartment
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] A man in his 30s who fell from the 18th floor of an apartment survived by landing on the sunroof of a passenger car in the ground parking lot.
According to the Jeonbuk Fire Headquarters on the 27th, around midnight, A (32) fell from the 18th floor of an apartment in Jeongeup City onto a Santa Fe passenger car in the parking lot, breaking through the sunroof and falling inside the car.
After hearing a "thud" sound, a nearby commercial building resident reported it, and the 119 rescue team arrived, opened the car door, rescued A inside, and transported him to the nearby Wonkwang University Hospital.
During the police investigation, A reportedly stated, "I drank alone and jumped from the veranda window." He is currently receiving treatment for severe spinal injuries.
