According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 25th, Mr. A, residing in Suwan-dong, Gwangsan-gu, tested positive in a COVID-19 diagnostic test and was classified as the 636th confirmed case in the region.
Mr. A had contact with Jeonbuk case number 239 and showed a positive result in a test conducted before the end of self-quarantine. The infection route of Jeonbuk case number 239, confirmed on the 23rd, has not yet been identified.
So far, 636 confirmed cases have occurred in Gwangju, with 536 patients recovered and discharged, and 97 currently receiving isolation treatment. There have been 3 deaths.
Currently, 892 people are awaiting test results, and 3,859 people classified as confirmed cases or contacts are in quarantine.
