Korea MSD-HK Innoen, Joint Vaccine Promotion and Distribution Agreement
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyun-ui Cho] Korea MSD announced on the 25th that it has signed a joint promotion and distribution partnership for vaccine products with HK Innoen.
Starting from January 1 next year, the two companies will conduct joint sales and marketing for five products from Korea MSD, including Gadasil and Gadasil9 (cervical cancer virus vaccines), Rotateq (rotavirus vaccine), and Prodiac-23 (pneumococcal vaccine).
HK Innoen will handle the distribution of these products as well as two additional items: MMR II (measles, mumps, and rubella virus vaccine) and Bacta (hepatitis A virus vaccine).
Sunyoung Park, Executive Director of the Vaccine Business Division at Korea MSD, said, “We will leverage HK Innoen’s strengths to overcome the uncertainties and stagnant environment in the pharmaceutical market caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.”
