View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) announced that it held a kimchi-making event at the Jungnang Happy Farm in Sinnae-dong at 11:30 a.m. on the 24th.
Hosted by the Jungnang Urban Agriculture Cooperative, the event was attended by a small group including Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, Choi Kyung-bo, member of the Jungnang-gu Council, Lee Byung-jun, head of the Jungnang Urban Agriculture Cooperative, members of the Jungnang Urban Agriculture Lovers Association, and tenants of the Jungnang Happy Farm garden plots. The event proceeded with kimchi-making followed by tasting of the kimchi.
In particular, the kimchi ingredients were prepared with kimchi vegetables such as napa cabbage and radish that the tenants of the Jungnang Happy Farm garden plots personally planted, carefully nurtured, and harvested this year, adding special significance to the event.
