Hoban, First in Construction Industry to Join Korean Red Cross 'RCSV 1 Billion Club'

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Hoban Construction has become the first company in the construction industry to join the Korean Red Cross's social contribution program, the 'RCSV (Red Cross Creating Shared Value) 1 Billion Club.'
On the 24th, Hoban Construction announced that it received the RCSV 1 Billion Club membership plaque at the Korean Red Cross in Jung-gu, Seoul. About 10 officials attended the event, including Shin Heeyoung, President of the Korean Red Cross, Jang Yesoon, Vice President, and Song Jongmin, President of Hoban Construction.
RCSV is a social value certification program standardized by the Korean Red Cross for corporations, allowing companies to participate in tiers ranging from 100 million KRW to 10 billion KRW. Among construction companies, Hoban Construction is the first to donate over 1 billion KRW through RCSV.
President Shin Heeyoung said, "We appreciate Hoban Construction's active participation in the humanitarian activities of the Korean Red Cross," and added, "We hope other companies will join as Hoban Construction has become the first in the construction industry to join the RCSV 1 Billion Club."
