Gyeongbuk Provincial Office of Education Switches 3rd-Year High School Students to 'Remote Classes' Ahead of CSAT

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] The Gyeongbuk Provincial Office of Education announced on the 24th that it has switched the classes of 3rd-year high school students to remote learning to prevent infections among students taking the 2021 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).
Originally, remote classes were scheduled to begin on the 26th, one week before the CSAT, but the Office of Education explained that it took proactive measures to allow remote learning for 3rd-year students starting from the 23rd to prevent infections and ensure safety.
From the 26th, to ensure thorough disinfection of CSAT test site schools and prevent infections among staff related to the exam, remote learning will also be implemented for 1st and 2nd-year high school students, middle schools designated as preliminary test sites, and middle schools attached to test site high schools.
