[Bitcoin Now] Bitcoin Soars... Trading at 20.3 Million Won in Domestic Market
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Bitcoin, the number one cryptocurrency by market capitalization, is maintaining the 20.3 million KRW range in the domestic market. Having recovered to the 20 million KRW range for the first time in 2 years and 10 months, Bitcoin continues its upward trend in both domestic and international markets.
According to the cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb on the 23rd, as of 2:17 PM, Bitcoin recorded 20,285,000 KRW, up 1% (201,000 KRW) compared to 24 hours earlier. The trading volume for the day was worth 103.5 billion KRW.
Most other cryptocurrencies are also showing an upward trend. Ripple (5.83%), Ethereum (8.89%), Bitcoin Cash (3.77%), EOS (3.20%), and ADA (10.65%) also rose.
On another exchange, Upbit, Bitcoin recorded 20,311,000 KRW, up 0.02% (4,000 KRW) from the previous session. Other cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum (3.26%), ADA (1.86%), Bitcoin Cash (1.29%), EOS (1.62%), and TRON (2.52%) also increased.
In the overseas market, Bitcoin maintained the $18,000 level. According to cryptocurrency market data provider CoinMarketCap, at the same time, Bitcoin was recorded at $18,452.81, down 0.20% compared to 24 hours earlier.
