According to the business community on the 21st, Samsung Electronics began a second pilot operation of remote work from the 16th for volunteers in the Consumer Electronics (CE) and Information Technology (IT) & Mobile (IM) divisions. The period for the second remote work will be flexibly determined depending on the COVID-19 situation.
Facility management is enhancing disinfection according to government quarantine authority standards, limiting meeting attendees to 20 people and events to fewer than 50 people, operating on a restricted basis. Mandatory mask-wearing is being strengthened within the company, and real-time notifications are provided to employees through the COVID Task Force.
Hyundai Motor Group is maintaining social distancing guidelines at level 2.5 and recommends employees refrain from traveling outside their workplaces. It is also known to be implementing restrictions on external visitors, online self-diagnosis and temperature checks, and staggered meal times.
SK Group has reinstated restrictions on external visitors, is refraining from face-to-face meetings and reports, and plans to expand the number of employees working remotely. Recently, with the metropolitan area social distancing level raised to 1.5, the press room in the SK Seorin Building in Jongno-gu, Seoul was closed.
LG Electronics applied social distancing level 1.5 standards from the 16th and decided to increase the proportion of office workers doing 'remote work' from the original 20% to 30%.

Group events, training, and meetings are limited to fewer than 10 people, and group training and company dinners are prohibited. Access for external visitors is restricted at all workplaces and buildings, and domestic and international business trips are banned.
