Goheung-gun Implements Remote Work for 'Public Officials Residing Outside the Area' to Prevent COVID-19 in Advance
Proactive Measures Following Suncheon-si's Elevation to Social Distancing Level 2
[Goheung=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] On the 20th, Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it will implement remote work for public officials residing outside the jurisdiction to block the inflow of COVID-19, as the spread of COVID-19 is increasing in neighboring local governments and Suncheon City has raised social distancing to Level 2.
To proactively respond to the recent large-scale spread of COVID-19, the county recommended that public officials residing in Suncheon City commute to and from the county area (relatives' or acquaintances' homes, etc.), and if this is not possible, work from home.
So far, Goheung-gun has thoroughly prepared to prevent any work gaps by producing and distributing a government remote work service (GVPN) manual in advance and educating remote work candidates in preparation for remote work due to the spread of COVID-19.
