Suncheon-si Nakan-myeon, Igok Village Participates in Love Mask Donation Campaign
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Residents of Igok Village, Nakan-myeon, Suncheon City, donated 1,450 KF-94 masks on the 20th to participate in Suncheon City's ongoing 'Love Mask Donation Campaign.'
An Jung-hyun, the head of Igok Village, said, "In the recent critical situation where cluster infections are occurring sequentially in all aspects of daily life, the residents voluntarily collected funds to contribute even a little to help."
These masks will be stocked in public facilities, public transportation (city and intercity buses), major tourist sites, and town and township civil service offices to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 due to not wearing masks.
In July, Igok Village residents also participated in the 'Suncheon-style Kwonbun Movement' to overcome COVID-19 by delivering 60 Kwonbun boxes containing summer blankets and other items to vulnerable households.
