The mother and daughter, who boast a striking resemblance, caught the attention of many.
In response to a fan's question about Yoon-ah's recent status, Jo said, "She is attending university while earning money through English tutoring."
Kim Yoon-ah is 21 years old this year and has appeared on various TV programs with her mother Jo Hye-ryun in the past. In 2013, she appeared on KBS 2TV's "Happy Sunday - Mamma Mia," gaining attention as the top student in her school.
Later, in 2016, she appeared on TV CHOSUN's "What’s Up, Mom?" where she revealed her daily life after dropping out of a prestigious high school.
Meanwhile, Jo Hye-ryun expressed gratitude for the great interest in the photo she posted with Yoon-ah.
In a phone interview with OSEN on the 19th, Jo said, "Yoon-ah had gone to a university in the United States but came back due to COVID-19," adding, "Everyone is having a hard time because of COVID-19, and I think she felt burdened by receiving tuition. Since she had time, she said she would work part-time."
She continued, "She worked part-time at a convenience store and then declared financial independence by saying she would no longer accept tuition and living expenses. Now that she is an adult, she wants to be independent from her mom and dad, so she started doing English tutoring," showing her affection for her daughter Yoon-ah.
