On the 18th, Radish and Napa Cabbage Harvested in Front Yard of District Office... Delivered to Kkumnamu Complex Town, Kimchi Prepared to Support Single-Parent Families
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yongsan-gu (District Mayor Seongjang Hyun) harvested radishes and cabbages that had been carefully cultivated for two months in the yard of Yongsan-gu Office (Yongsan Village Farm) on the 18th.
Every year, the district has held a "Love Radish and Cabbage Harvest Event with Little Farmers" with children from workplace daycare centers, but this year, due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the event was omitted and only the staff worked.
The harvested agricultural products (200 radishes, 120 cabbages) were sent to Yongsan Dream Tree Complex Town (329 Baekbeom-ro). On the 20th, the Complex Town staff will make kimchi on the rooftop of the main building and deliver it to local social welfare facilities and single-parent families.
