Nam Joo-hyuk Suddenly Tears Up at 'Josee' Production Report "Various Emotions Overwhelm Me"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Actor Nam Joo-hyuk could not hold back tears during the production presentation of ‘Josee’.
On the morning of the 17th, Nam Joo-hyuk suddenly showed tears at the online live-streamed production presentation of the movie 'Josee' (directed by Kim Jong-kwan).
After the trailer for ‘Josee’ was shown that day, Nam Joo-hyuk, caught on camera, burst into tears as if overwhelmed with emotion. Although he seemed to calm down briefly, he suddenly broke into tears again, surprising everyone.
Eventually, Han Ji-min, who was sitting next to him, also shed tears, causing the production presentation to be temporarily paused. Afterwards, the two wiped their tears with tissues brought by the staff and composed themselves.
Nam Joo-hyuk explained the reason for his tears, saying, “Watching the trailer brought back the emotions from that time exactly. Because I sincerely acted on the set of 'Josee,' the emotions suddenly and unexpectedly surfaced. I thought about that time a lot.”
He added, “When I saw Josee, various emotions came to mind, and the feelings surged strongly.”
Afterwards, while talking about ‘Josee,’ Nam Joo-hyuk occasionally welled up with tears, showing deep immersion in the film.
‘Josee’ is a movie depicting the most brilliant moments shared by Josee (played by Han Ji-min) and Young-seok (played by Nam Joo-hyuk), whose unforgettable name was known from the day they first met. The film is directed by Kim Jong-kwan, who also directed 'Worst Woman' and 'The Table.' It will be released on December 10.
