According to their agency Big Hit Entertainment on the 17th, the music video surpassed 600 million views on YouTube around midnight that day. This is the ninth time a BTS music video has exceeded 600 million views, following "DNA," "Boy With Luv," "Fake Love," "Idol," and others.
"Dynamite" is an upbeat disco-pop song released on August 21. It topped the US Billboard Hot 100 chart three times and has maintained a position within the top 10 for 11 weeks, continuing its long-term success. It also ranked 5th on the Billboard Global 200 chart, which tracks popular songs worldwide, and 4th on the Billboard Global (excluding US) chart.
The music video drew significant attention at the time of its release, setting a new YouTube Premiere viewing record with over 3 million concurrent viewers. It also recorded 101 million views within 24 hours, making it the "most viewed music video in 24 hours" on YouTube.
