KB?Sonbo, Opens 'Smartphone Insurance Enrollment System'?
Is It Possible to Minimize Face-to-Face Interaction Between Customers and Designers and Conclude Insurance Contracts in a Simple Way?
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] KB Insurance announced on the 16th that it has launched a 'Smartphone Insurance Enrollment System' that allows customers to receive insurance consultations and complete contracts in a one-stop process anytime, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, at their desired location.
The Smartphone Insurance Enrollment System was developed in response to the emphasis on non-face-to-face environments due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), minimizing face-to-face interactions between customers and agents and enabling insurance contracts to be completed in a simple manner.
Previously, agents had to meet customers face-to-face, then return to the office to prepare documents tailored to the customer's situation and needs, and meet the customer again. Additionally, if customers had further requests, this process had to be repeated, causing inconvenience.
However, with this system, agents can immediately reflect the customer's situation and requests on-site through a smartphone, enabling one-stop processing from coverage design, pre-contract disclosure input, underwriting requests, to contract completion.
This allows insurance enrollment at any time, including holidays and outside business hours, significantly reducing the time required for enrollment and the number of face-to-face meetings, thereby minimizing coverage gaps for customers.

Furthermore, policy documents and insurance certificates delivered at the time of contract completion can also be issued via smartphone, enhancing convenience in delivery and storage, while contributing to reducing paper usage for environmental protection, aligning with KB Financial Group's ESG management policies.
