[Photo] Oh Seung-rok, Nowon District Mayor, Attends Opening Ceremony of Youth Creative Space 'Meetup Center'
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 13th at 4 PM, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the opening ceremony of the youth cultural creation space ‘Meetup Center (Wolgye 2-dong)’.
The center was created by utilizing the previously neglected underground passage next to the Wolgye 2-dong post office. It has a total floor area of 612㎡ and is divided into four spaces.
These include ‘Sangsang UP’ equipped with a one-person media room, band practice room, dance room, and mini theater; ‘Funny UP,’ a relaxation space in the form of a book cafe; ‘Beauty UP,’ with a powder room and instant photo booth; and ‘Sotong UP,’ which supports small group meetings and study sessions.
The opening ceremony was attended by about 70 people including Mayor Oh Seung-rok, members of the National Assembly, city councilors, district councilors, local youth, and residents. The event proceeded with congratulatory performances, progress reports, greetings, facility tours, and a unveiling ceremony.
