Group Arrested for Trading 'Special Supply Apartments' Using Disabled Persons' Names Illegally

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Intelligent Crime Investigation Unit announced on the 13th that they have booked three brokers and over 10 people with disabilities on charges of violating the Housing Act by borrowing the names of people with disabilities to apply for special supply subscriptions and reselling some of them. Among them, Broker A, who was heavily involved in the crime, was arrested on the 11th.
It was investigated that A and his group paid about 5 to 10 million KRW per case to people with disabilities in exchange for lending their names, applied for special supply subscriptions, and won 10 apartments in the metropolitan area. Among these, six contracts were actually signed, and one of the six was resold for profit.
