SK Rent-a-Car "Use Jeju Rental Cars and Receive Tangerines"

[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] SK Rent-a-Car announced on the 13th that it will gift Jeju-grown fresh tangerines to customers using the Jeju branch and Billy Car to help the economic development of Jeju Island and enhance customer satisfaction.

SK Rent-a-Car purchased 80 tons of tangerines from the Seogwipo Chilship-ri Agricultural Cooperative Corporation and decided to provide them free of charge to SK Rent-a-Car contract customers in the Jeju area for three months from today until February 12 next year.

SK Rent-a-Car conducted a survey of rental car customers in Jeju and found that the most preferred local specialty was "tangerines," which inspired this event. Additionally, based on accumulated big data analysis, they predicted the number of users and calculated the demand for this event. However, if the prepared tangerines run out early, the giveaway event will end.

Prior to this, in July, SK Rent-a-Car purchased 60,000 bottles of "Samdasoo," a bottled water produced by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Development Corporation, to provide free of charge to rental car customers in support of local community growth. Going forward, SK Rent-a-Car plans to monitor customer surveys and local farms to discover future event items.

Meanwhile, SK Rent-a-Car’s Jeju branch is offering discount codes through the SK Rent-a-Car website until the end of this year, running a rental fee discount event of up to 85%. Additionally, for T-map members, searching for "Jeju" through the app offers a '2+1 event' where renting for 3 days grants 1 day free. More details can be found on the SK Rent-a-Car website.

An SK Rent-a-Car official said, "With the peak tangerine harvest season underway, we are holding this event to support local farms while bringing joy to rental car customers," adding, "We hope customers enjoy the tangerines, one pack (7 pieces) per vehicle, and add flavor and fun to their Jeju trip."
