[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] Hancom announced on the 12th that it recorded sales of 102.1 billion KRW and operating profit of 13.4 billion KRW in the third quarter.
This represents growth of 60% and 464.8% respectively compared to the previous year.

Hancom's subsidiaries also showed growth. Hancom MDS recorded sales of 33.02 billion KRW and operating profit of 940 million KRW. Operating profit grew by 527% year-on-year.
Hancom Lifecare posted sales of 44.87 billion KRW and operating profit of 6.48 billion KRW, both exceeding 300% growth compared to the previous year. The strong performance was driven by stable sales of firefighting air respirators, Hancom Lifecare's existing core business, and the sale of more than 20 million personal protective masks.
Hancom plans to continue expanding into the cloud sector, which will be a mid- to long-term growth engine. Hancom supplies web office technology to Amazon Web Services (AWS) global service 'WorkDocs', Naver's 'Whale Browser', NHN's 'Toast Workplace Durey', and others.
A Hancom official stated, "Our major subsidiaries plan to secure enhanced competitiveness through expanding their own technological capabilities, continuously discovering new growth engines, and visualizing new businesses."
Hancom MDS plans to continuously increase profitability through its self-developed Bluetooth-based security solution 'NeoKeyManager' and its advanced object recognition and video processing technology-based self-developed fever detection software.
