Credit Information Service and Small and Medium Business Research Institute Sign Agreement to Support Innovative SME Development

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] The Korea Credit Information Services (KCIS) announced on the 12th that it has signed a business agreement with the Small and Medium Business Research Institute to expand funding supply and policy support for innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The two organizations agreed to mutually exchange information on SMEs with excellent technology and actively cooperate to revitalize innovative financial support for SMEs based on this information.
They also agreed to conduct joint research to discover SME policy ideas and establish a proactive support system, and to jointly identify tasks for fostering innovative SMEs, such as strengthening the linkage between SME support policies and financial support.

At the signing ceremony held the previous day at the Credit Information Services office in Myeong-dong, Seoul, Shin Hyun-jun, President of KCIS, stated, “We expect that innovative financial support for SMEs with excellent technology but insufficient collateral will be further expanded,” adding, “By establishing a data-sharing and performance analysis collaboration system between KCIS and the Small and Medium Business Research Institute, we will support the creation of an active financial support system for innovative SMEs.”
