Hapcheon-gun Rolls Up Sleeves to Provide Emergency Livelihood Support for At-Risk Households
On-site Registration Available Through Eup and Myeon Offices Until November 20
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province, has decided to extend the application period for the temporary support project ‘Emergency Livelihood Support for Crisis Households,’ targeting low-income crisis households whose income has decreased due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), until the 20th.
This is a two-week extension of the on-site application period originally conducted through the town and township offices until the 6th.
The support targets households with income at or below 75%, whose earned income or business income decreased from July to September, or households that received job-seeking (unemployment) benefits due to job loss but ended before September 30.
Households receiving basic livelihood security benefits, emergency welfare support, emergency employment stabilization funds, small business new hope funds, youth special employment support programs, or other government support due to COVID-19 are excluded from eligibility.
Emergency livelihood support is provided once after reviewing individual applications, with 400,000 KRW for single-person households, 600,000 KRW for two-person households, 800,000 KRW for three-person households, and 1,000,000 KRW for households of four or more.
