[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] On the morning of the 10th at 10 a.m., Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, held a ceremony in the mayor's office to receive 1,000 bags of 10kg white rice from Gwangyeom Church.
On this day, Gwangyeom Church donated 1,000 bags of white rice to support low-income families in the area as part of its social contribution activities. Every winter, Gwangyeom Church delivers rice through the Nowon District Office, continuously supporting low-income residents in the community.
The ceremony was held with the attendance of the mayor, Gong Chun-taek, head of social affairs at Gwangyeom Church, and others, proceeding with tea time, rice delivery, and commemorative photo sessions.
The donated rice will be primarily distributed to low-income families with minor children, recommended by each neighborhood community center.
