SundayToz Reports 3Q Operating Profit of 3.4 Billion KRW, Up 66% YoY
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] SundayToz announced on the 10th that it recorded sales of 26.5 billion KRW and an operating profit of 3.4 billion KRW in the third quarter.
This represents a growth of 43% and 66% respectively compared to the previous year.
'Anipang 4,' released at the end of June, drove the strong performance. 'Anipang 4,' which generated up to 1 million ad views per month in the domestic market, was recorded as having the highest advertising revenue among SundayToz games.
SundayToz explained, "The success of 'Anipang 4' in converting non-paying users into paying customers laid the foundation for long-term success and presented a new direction for mobile casual games."
In Asia, including Japan, 'Disney Pop Town,' which generated 800,000 ad demands based on 400,000 daily users, has established itself as a key revenue source in overseas markets.
A SundayToz official said, "Through the third quarter results, which proved the steady sales of existing games and the continuous growth of new business sectors, we surpassed cumulative quarterly sales of 80 billion KRW for the first time in six years," adding, "Various new titles are scheduled to be released by the first half of next year, so the growth trend will continue."
