Kwangwoon University Holds Commemorative Plaque Ceremony for Entrusted Operation of Seoul Seongbuk Youth Center
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Kwangwoon University announced on the 10th that it held a plaque ceremony for the Seongbuk Youth Center, which it was entrusted to operate by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. Located in Jangwi-dong, Seongbuk-gu, the Seongbuk Youth Center has facilities such as a swimming pool, performance hall, after-school academy, and gymnasium for youth use, with the mission "Let's go! Confident youth in a hyper-connected society." Kwangwoon University will operate the center under consignment until 2023. President Joo Sang Yoo stated, "Kwangwoon University aims to be a university that develops together with the community and has been operating various types of youth institutions in the four northeastern districts," adding, "We will strive to contribute to regional development and society through the university's diverse expertise and abundant human resources."
