[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 9th that it will hold a 'Zero Delivery Event Week' from the 11th to the 17th, offering various discounts and prizes to citizens using the 'Zero Delivery Union' to comfort citizens exhausted by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
During this period, if you order food from any of the seven Zero Delivery Union apps and pay with the Seoul Love Gift Certificate, you can receive a 20% discount on the total order amount, up to a maximum of 50,000 KRW (within the validity period). This event is organized by the Korea Simple Payment Promotion Agency, a disaster law organization, and is held in conjunction with the '2020 Seoul Gourmet Week (November 11?15).' The event will end early if the budget is exhausted.
The 'Zero Delivery Receipt Prize Event' will also be held for about a month from the 11th to the 6th of next month. If you register the Seoul Love Gift Certificate receipt paid through the Zero Delivery Union app on the event website, you will be entered into a draw to win various prizes such as washing and drying machines, wireless vacuum cleaners, and Seoul Love Gift Certificates.
The 'Himkok (Cheer Up Stay-at-Home) Gift Certificates,' which can be used on the Zero Delivery Union apps, will also be issued starting on the 11th, with a total scale of 2.5 billion KRW, allocating 100 million KRW per autonomous district. Himkok gift certificates can be purchased at a 10% discount (90,000 KRW) up to 100,000 KRW per person, and the usage period is within one year. In Eunpyeong-gu, the Himkok gift certificates are discounted up to 15%.
Among users who purchase Himkok gift certificates during the Zero Delivery Event Week and pay through the Zero Delivery Union, 1,000 people will be selected by lottery to receive 50,000 KRW worth of Seoul Love Gift Certificates.
Even after the one-week Delivery Independence Week ends, the Zero Delivery Union 10% discount event (up to 5,000 KRW per day, maximum 50,000 KRW during the period) will continue until December 18.
