Daishin Securities Launches Pre-Market Trading Service for US Stock Market
[Asia Economy Reporter Koh Hyung-kwang] Daishin Securities is launching a 'U.S. Stock Pre-market Service' that allows trading of U.S. stocks before the official opening of the U.S. stock market. The aim is to significantly extend the trading hours for U.S. stocks so that domestic investors can respond quickly to global volatility and issues.
Daishin Securities announced on the 7th that it will offer a service allowing the purchase of U.S. stocks during the 'Pre-market,' which is before the regular U.S. market hours. By using the Pre-market (9:00 PM to 11:30 PM KST), investors will be able to trade for 2 hours and 30 minutes before the regular U.S. market opens.
The U.S. market Pre-market runs from 6:00 PM to 11:30 PM KST when daylight saving time is not applied, and the After-market, which is the post-market trading, runs from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM KST. Daishin Securities plans to extend the Pre-market trading hours in the future.
Customers who wish to use the service can open an overseas securities account either through Daishin Securities' non-face-to-face channels or by visiting any branch, and then trade. For more details, customers can contact the nearest Daishin Securities Customer Satisfaction Center.
