According to Mokpo Coast Guard Station (Chief Jung Young-jin), at 10:42 a.m. on the 6th, a resident A (87 years old, female) living on Imjado Island, Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do, showed acute respiratory distress symptoms due to cardiovascular disease, and the head of the health center reported that transportation to a large hospital was necessary.
Upon receiving the report, the coast guard dispatched the coastal rescue boat from Jido Police Substation, boarded the patient at Jinri Pier on Imjado Island, and arrived at Songdo Port in Jido at around 11:32 a.m., handing over the patient to the waiting 119 ambulance team.
