Establishing a Triangle Support System Connecting Chuncheon, Wonju, and Gangneung
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 6th that it has signed a four-party business agreement with Chuncheon Bio Industry Promotion Agency, Wonju Medical Device Technovalley, and Gangneung Science Industry Promotion Agency to foster specialized industries in Gangwon Province.
The four organizations agreed to actively cooperate in ▲discovering promising companies and mutually recommending them ▲providing linked support such as BI residency, technical consulting, and financing. They also plan to establish a triangle (Chuncheon-Wonju-Gangneung) support network to assist companies in key industries of Gangwon Province, including bio, medical devices, and food.
Based on its expertise in supporting companies, the Small and Medium Business Corporation will take the lead in producing concrete results by utilizing field organizations and data. It will also provide linked support such as policy funds, consulting, and export marketing for promising companies.
The Corporation explained that this agreement actively reflects the opinion expressed at the Gangwon Province Small and Medium Business Field Meeting in June, which emphasized the need for focused support to foster regional specialized industries.
