At the launch ceremony of the External Cooperation Committee Policy Network Dream held at the Yeouido party headquarters on the same day, Chairman Kim said, "In the last general election, we suffered a defeat that no opposition party in the past has ever experienced," adding, "If we do not evaluate the election results coldly, we cannot inform the public about what kind of party we aim to be."
Chairman Kim said, "If a modern political party fails to keep up with public sentiment in a timely manner, it is impossible to come to power," and added, "When people think of the past opposition parties, they immediately recall extreme struggles and shouting outside.
