Namwon-si Hosts 'Chrysanthemum Bonsai Exhibition Embracing Autumn'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] The Autumn Chrysanthemum Bonsai Exhibition will be held for four days starting from the 5th at the greenhouse inside the Agricultural Technology Center in Namwon-si, Jeonbuk.
The Horticultural Activity Lifestyle Research Association, a citizens' group, conducts education using chrysanthemum bonsai at the Agricultural Technology Center and has held an annual autumn chrysanthemum bonsai exhibition, receiving favorable reviews from citizens and tourists. However, this year, due to COVID-19, the exhibition will be held on a small scale in the greenhouse workshop.
This exhibition marks the ninth time it has been held this year.
At the exhibition, about 160 chrysanthemum bonsai pieces such as stone bonsai and wooden bonsai created by individual members, and about 160 group works including Hyunae and Daeryun will be displayed, providing an opportunity to share the joy of learning with family and acquaintances through the results of a year’s creative activities.
The Namwon-si Chrysanthemum Bonsai Exhibition is particularly meaningful as a citizen-autonomous event where trainees directly carry out education, creative activities, and overall exhibition operations.
