National Hanwoo Association Andong Branch Donates 40 Boxes of Beef Bulgogi to Low-Income Families
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Andong City announced that the Andong Branch of the Korea Hanwoo Association donated 40 boxes of beef bulgogi (worth 2 million KRW) through a Hanwoo sharing event for neighborly love on the 5th. The beef bulgogi will be supplied to low-income households in towns, townships, and neighborhoods.
The Andong Branch of the Korea Hanwoo Association takes the lead every year in practicing the culture of sharing beef for low-income and struggling households. In April, they also gifted 40 boxes of beef bulgogi.
Lee Seung-taek, head of the Andong branch, said, "We hope that this sharing event will help neighbors who are having difficulties due to the spread of COVID-19 to recover their health and strengthen their immunity, even if only a little."
