Get Up to 5% Annual Interest Benefit When You Shop Over 110,000 KRW in November Time Deals
[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Shinhan Bank announced on the 5th that it will hold a time deal event in November offering up to 5% annual interest rate effect for the 'Shinhan 11st Regular Deposit.'
The time deal targets the first 11,000 customers during November (one account per person) who newly subscribe to the 'Shinhan 11st Regular Deposit' and make an initial payment of 110,000 KRW or more using the '11st Shinhan Credit Card,' providing up to 3.9% annual reward for a maximum annual interest rate effect of 5%.
The time deal event can be participated in not only through Shinhan Bank's mobile application SOL but also via the 11st or Shinhan Bank mobile web channels without installing the app.
Launched in June, the 'Shinhan 11st Regular Deposit' is a 3-month fixed deposit available from 500,000 KRW up to 3,000,000 KRW. The basic interest rate is 0.8% per annum, and with consent to open banking services, the preferential interest rate is 0.3% per annum, providing a total of 1.1% annual interest. After subscribing to the deposit, customers who make their first payment of 110,000 KRW or more at any merchant using the '11st Shinhan Credit Card' receive up to 2.2% annual reward, resulting in a 3.3% interest rate effect.
