Graduate of the Department of Hotel Culinary Arts at Nambu University, Passes the 68th Master Chef Certification Exam
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] A graduate of the Department of Hotel Culinary Arts at Nambu University has obtained the Master Chef certification.
According to Nambu University on the 4th, Kim Young-hee (55, Department of Hotel Culinary Arts) passed the 68th Master Chef exam held last September.
The Master Chef exam is a nationally recognized certification administered twice a year by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea. Due to its high difficulty, it is known as the bar exam of the culinary field.
In fact, the average pass rate is around 10%, and applicants must have at least 7 years of professional experience to apply.
Kim, who earned a bachelor's degree from Nambu University's Department of Hotel Culinary Arts, previously won the Presidential Award at the Korea International Culinary Competition for kimchi. She is also a master of the Korean Food Association.
