Honam University Korean Language Department Conducts Popular Music Dance Class
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] On the 3rd, the Department of Korean Language at Honam University announced that it conducted an extracurricular major-linked program class titled ‘Learning Popular Song Dance’ at the auditorium on the 1st floor of IT Square.
In this class, students practiced the dance of the female K-Pop idol group ‘Deomdi Deomdi,’ which is leading the flow of Korean culture, and enhanced their skills by naturally experiencing Korean culture while enjoying and understanding the characteristics of popular songs.
Additionally, through the ‘Korean Culture Education’ program, which consisted of topics such as the importance of Korean culture classes, curriculum design, and lesson plan preparation, teaching methods that effectively convey Korean culture were provided, strengthening the practical capabilities of prospective Korean language teachers.
