[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] The study group for first-term lawmakers of the People Power Party, 'Myeongbulheojeon Bosuda,' will invite Professor Seo Min-dan from Dankook University (on the 11th), former Democratic Party lawmaker Geum Tae-seop (on the 18th), and former People Power Party lawmaker Yoo Seung-min (on the 25th) to give lectures this month.
According to the office of People Power Party lawmaker Heo Eun-ah on the 3rd, Myeongbulheojeon Bosuda will continue a series of three invited lectures under the theme "To revive the exhausted democracy." Professor Seo, author of the book "The Black Book of Cho Kuk," will give a lecture titled "The Path of the Opposition" and then engage in discussions with first-term lawmakers.
Lawmaker Heo emphasized, "The current Democratic Party has become a regime that has turned into a monster while fighting power, aiming to end democracy and push the Republic of Korea into crisis," adding, "It is absolutely necessary to expand exchanges and consensus with rational intellectuals, healthy progressive figures, and reformist conservative figures."
