Kibo Signs Business Agreement with Yonsei University College of Engineering to Promote Campus Startups

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Jung Yoon-mo, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 2nd that it signed a "Business Agreement for University Outstanding Talent Startups and Technology Commercialization" with the College of Engineering at Yonsei University (Dean Myung Jae-min) to promote startups by outstanding university talents.
This agreement was established to build a comprehensive support system to activate challenging startups by engineering talents possessing excellent technologies and ideas and to promote technology commercialization.
According to the agreement, Yonsei University College of Engineering will recommend outstanding startup companies within the university to Kibo, and Kibo will support the success of campus startups through a two-track approach of financial support such as guarantees and investments, and non-financial support including consulting, technology transfer, and initial public offering (IPO) assistance. Additionally, both institutions will establish a cooperative system in various fields such as technology evaluation and technical advisory based on their professional capabilities.
